How to get the most out of ScoreHub

ScoreHub is built to give you live scores quickly, without clutter. This short tour shows the features that most visitors miss.

Find a match fast

The scores page lists today's matches. Use the sport tabs at the top to switch between football, basketball, hockey, tennis and cricket. The Live button shows only matches in play, and the date arrows move between days. In football, pick a competition from the list at the side to see just that league.

Follow your team

Press Follow on a team page or match page to follow a team. Followed teams appear on the Following page, and the My teams button on the scores page shows their matches for the next two weeks. You can star a single match with the star on its row to keep it handy.

Get alerts

Turn on Alerts from the button at the top of the page and allow notifications when your browser asks. You will get a message when a followed team or starred match kicks off, when a goal is scored (with the scorer where it is available), and at full time. You can also get a short morning summary on days when your teams are playing. Alerts are sent through your browser, so they work only on devices where you have switched them on.

Choose your alert sound

On the Following page you can pick the sound that plays with alerts. Browsers do not let a website choose the sound of a notification when it is closed, so the custom sound plays while a ScoreHub tab is open. When the site is closed, your phone or computer uses its normal notification sound.

Predict results

Open any match that has not started and choose home win, draw or away win. You earn points when you are right, and the Predict page shows weekly and all-time leaderboards. Predictions close at kick-off. Choose a nickname if you want to appear on the leaderboard. It is a game for fun, with no prizes.

Save data

If you are on a slow or expensive connection, switch on Data saver in the footer. It hides crests and videos, loads fewer extras and checks for new scores less often. ScoreHub will also offer it automatically when it detects a slow connection, but it never turns it on without asking.

Light or dark

The Theme button in the footer cycles between Auto, Light and Dark. Auto follows your phone or computer setting.

Highlights and details

Match pages show line-ups, events and statistics when our data sources have them, and highlights videos for many finished football matches. Data comes from several providers, so some details arrive a little after the final whistle.
